Aberration: First study
This is my first study for the second Dinofuck collective project (the image was shot in pigeonland).
The theme of that assignement was “Aberration”. My first step before trying decide on a photograph I would make was to really get a good feeling of what the word “aberration” really means:
- ab·er·rant
- Function:
- adjective
- Etymology:
- Latin aberrant-, aberrans, present participle of aberrare to go astray, from ab- + errare to wander, err
- Date:
- circa 1780
1 : straying from the right or normal way
2 : deviating from the usual or natural type : atypical
2 : deviating from the usual or natural type : atypical
That’s when I realized all the possibilities that lay before me and I knew what the goal of my photographic process would be: I wanted to create an image of something that isn’t right, something either slightly or by a far unlikely, unexpected and not supposed to “be there”. So that was my starting point.
As far as that first image goes, I was aiming for a slightly dreamy/eery mood while at the same time exploring a possible aesthetical aspect for my project.

j’aime ça et félicitation pour le “revamp” de ton blog
